To take a screenshot on an Android device, you must:
- Press the Power/Lock + Volume Down buttons for a few seconds.
- On some devices, mainly those with older versions of Android or Samsung, those buttons may be Power/Lock + Home.
To check if the screenshot was taken correctly, go to the photo gallery and look for it in the "Screenshots" section. Whenever you take a screenshot, the device will emit a shutter sound; this will also help you to know if the screenshot was taken correctly.
To take a screenshot on an iOS device, you must:
- Press the Lock (on the right side of the device) and Home (in the centre of the device) buttons at the same time. If you still can't take the screenshot, try again until you can.
- If your device does not have a Home button, press the side button and the volume up button at the same time.
To find the screenshot, go to your device's Gallery, go to Albums and then to the Screenshots folder.
