Can’t play my turn on toad kingdom

Every time I go to play my turn on the match I started on Toad Kingdom it won’t let me roll my dice, and I can’t exit the screen either. I can scroll the map up and down and press the dice power up and shield power up, but they don’t apply. I can’t press my dice. It also never displays the “let’s get started/it’s your turn” message when I press play.

  I tried play my turn against Hailey Weber it's like it's frozen ,and the only thing I can do is get spins crystals for free. Trying to roll, trying to exit, trying to press the question mark, shields don't work, and the extra dices aren't work so I don't know what to do. I have tried exiting out, and exiting out and powering off. Toad kingdom is the game I'm in with this person.

  I have this game problem. I have a Toad Kingdom game with my mom where it shows the score 15-15 and both of us have the exact same experience you described. Can scroll up and down the board but that's it. It's been there for over a week. So frustrating.
