What can I do if the game shuts down or freezes?
You know what they say: nothing is perfect. Well, some of the features we launch in the game aren't perfect either. You might run into some errors or issues during your time in Trivia Crack.
You will then wonder: how can I fix them?
We don't expect you to be an expert when it comes to problem-solving, that’s our job! However, we need your help to solve them. Having said this, we will give you a few tips to bear in mind when reporting a problem. This way, we can gather all the necessary information to help you and make sure you can continue playing without further issues:
- Try to explain the situation in as much detail as possible
- Let us know the game mode in which the issue appears
- Walk us through all the steps you took until the issue appeared
- Send us screenshots so we can visualize the situation
- Send us videoshots (if possible). You can do this when the issue appears in an ad. You can also send us one whenever a screenshot (image) is not clear enough.

You would have thought they'd have it corrected by now. I complained weeks ago. I think they were concentrating on getting their Halloween decorations put on the site and not caring whether the players were going to stay playing. I'm getting to the point that I don't want to even play anymore. Too frustrating.

Neo, for technical help it helps to know your operating system and device. I was able to play survival mode with no problems before my iOS was updated. The flakiness drove me crazy, but until I got the ISP to Test and reset our router, nothing worked. If you get any notifications from your other apps that your connection is slow, take the issue to your provider. If you have any static or flickering, that also a symptom is router issues. If you use any streaming video services and get error messages during play, that’s also router issues. If none of this works delete your app. Reboot your system, then reinstall. Hopefully that will take care of it for you.

Thanks for the info Victoria. I play on my iphone7 and I keep it updated, as well as keeping my apps updated daily. I did also have my provider reset my router. I'm not having any problems playing any other games or using any other apps. Everything works and plays well on my phone except Trivia Crack. I haven't even been back to Survival to play that part of the game. I'll have to try it again and see if it plays better for me now. The freezing is now happening after watching an ad after the second chance offer they make. The ad plays out and then it freezes up. I have to exit the game and when I start it up again, instead of taking me back to the same game and the same person I was playing against, it has me select another opponent and I've lost the game I was playing when it froze up. Start close, start close, start close..... it's getting old. lol

I play the ad free version so I never get the option for ads. It sounds like there’s a flaw in the advertising server returning to the game. The bit of information should help Etermax find the bug. I know they check these boards.
When I started playing trivia (a long time ago) I upgraded my lives from three to five for 99cents. I think that’s when I got the ad free version. It’s been worth it. -
Diana, what operating system and device? I use my iPad, sometimes iPhone 5, and just updated the iOS on both to 13.1.3. I knew there would be a fix after I updated to 13.1.0 because it was flakey.
Do you play the ad-free version of Trivia Crack or do you have the option of looking at an ad to get extra turns? I’ve never played that version, so I know nothing about it. But I do get ads in some apps and they return me to the same place I was. In coding there could be a GOTO instead of a CALL that’s shifting the game from local to ad server. That would stop the return to the same place it was. It might also cause the freezing.
I've deleted my app before, then reinstalled and that has helped. But not 100%, sometimes I have to delete, cold boot my device, then reinstall. -

Having exact same issues. The freezing issues of after adds ,Freezing on prize wheel and error codes in survival mode. I’ve gotten to point that I’m just gonna delete the app it’s too frustrating to answer something correctly and then you get error. How can you honestly play and enjoy an app with so many problems

Yes Lauree, I agree, too frustrating to play. The whole purpose of us watching the ads is so we don't have to pay to play, and I for one do not want to pay to play. So I watch the ads, and in doing so get frozen out ALL the time. I don't play near as often as I used to. I'm preferring solitaire over Trivia.
