Players-Want Old Home Screen Back?

Hello, players. Just curious how many of you still want the old home screen layout back & how many of you like this new one now? I, personally, hate the new layout & I've read everyone's reviews. Most of you agreed that the old layout was so much better, and the new layout was less informative, missing player data, was laid out in a less-than-optimal way, took more clicking & scrolling around, etc. Well, it is now going on the 3rd month and we're still dealing with that new format that we didn't want or like, after ALL those reviews we sent them. THIRD MONTH now. It hasn't grown on me, I still haven't gotten used it & I STILL find myself literally groaning every time I open the game and see the new format still there, along with damn pig. Wondering how everyone else feels? If it's a split opinion or most of you like the new layout, then I'll shut up about it finally 😊. But if you still want the old layout back, then let's try again telling them so, in a united post. Our prior complaints to the powers-that-be were sent out under diff't categories - some of us responded to their Announcement of the new screen, while others posted in the Bugs & Problem section OR in General Discussion. Maybe grouping our opinions in one thread might get a change made. So, what are your thought folks? OLD layout or NEW layout? Please reply with your preference & thanks in advance for taking the time to reply.

  1. The developers haven’t shown that they are responsive to anything posted in this forum.
  2. I’m still using the old interface because I haven’t updated the app for 2 months. This has also allowed me to avoid most of the bugs plaguing many other users.
  3. Absolutely hate the new interface (my wife has it).

  It won’t be Winter much longer so they’ll change the graphic to something else. I give it a 10% chance that the old format will ever reappear. As we’ve all learned, Etermax writes back courteous messages but always does what it wants first and foremost.

  I absolutely hate the new format. I updated my phone, and now I WILL NOT play on the phone. My iPad, fortunately, is still the old version. So I’ll play there, but not nearly as much as I used to.

  What this says, is the code is still valid and would be easy to put back in play.  That they make no effort to use the superior interface says they don’t care. It’s a dogmatic approach believing players will play no matter what. 
  
  Why create a forum where we are invited to voice our concerns?  It creates the illusion that Etermax wants players to participate in making the game their favorite. Actually, it’s a form of bullying because the illusion is that our opinions matter, but the reality is we keep trying their updates getting mired in their changes — trapped.

  Thanks everyone for their comments. I very much appreciate them. Hopefully, we get more players to add their thoughts. My fear is that if we just go silent, they'll take it as acceptance. And I'm not giving them that without trying to make us heard again. I feel like there's a lot of us who agree, so I'm trying, I'm trying 🙋🏼‍♀️. It may be a long shot, like you said Dante, 10% chance, and even that seems a little high lol. But I needed to try again.

  I too hate the new format and have complained incessantly about its disadvantages and handicaps. My biggest pet peeve about it is not being able to see how many games I have won for the day so I don't get shut out of ranking points on classic game wins. This basically forces you to purchase pink credits and/or correct answers to compete in survival mode. How else will you stay competitive and keep your ranking?? They cleverly planned this to garner more revenue for themselves.
