This game has just begun and this cheater takes the fun out of playing for everyone. I cannot imagine why people do this. If you wonder why Etermax reduced the times you can play a classic game to 15 a day, this is why. A few rotten people ruin it for the rest of us. Now, I have to wait 3 more days and hope that I get a chance to play a real game then. I guess I can’t download a pic of it, but the leader already has 14,010. The person closest to her only has 8,230 & I’m quite a bit down. I’ve won the game before, I’ve come in second before. But then people find a way to cheat and it’s all over. No fun!

Hi Audrey. I hear you on this. Had a thought recently...What if our foreign friends receive mostly easy TC Q’s just because those have been translated by users in those countries. Every question is Vincent Van Gogh’s ear or 3 hits in Volleyball! Would explain a lot if this were true.

Please bear in mind, questions in the game are always suggested by users in their respective language, therefore, it is users themselves that are dictating the difficulty of the questions. Nevertheless, whenever you encounter a situation where you believe a player may be cheating, please reach out directly through our Support Center contact form and let us know of their username, this way, we can analyze the situation. Hey Victoria. You can still play unlimited classic games but only earn points towards the Ranking challenge on 15 wins per day. Also, while the foreign players are in our overall Survival and Ranking weekly groups, I don’t think they are in the same individual challenge rounds with USA players. So, it’s possible they have a limited supply of Q’s in their languages. Probably easy ones and not like the large amount of obscure, difficult questions in English.

I agree Victoria. If you start a "contest" to get people to want to play and earn points, why would you then limit the games. I think some limits need to be set but not there.
Victoria-the game no longer alerts us if there is a chat message for you but if you press on the conversation bubbles you'll go to chat. Then you have to check each player to see if they've written but at least we can chat. I don't see a game from you...but I'll keep trying. 😃 -

Report cheating? I did, last Ranking Challenge, with PROOF... you know what happened? Nothing, in fact the cheater won the #1 spot and all the rewards.
I noticed this player suddenly shot up in the ratings and noticed they were adding points around the clock. I then noticed they were adding ranking points in increments of 100 which is impossible as there is no way to accrue only 100 points. I took a screenshot of their score then waited for it to go up by another 100 points then took a screenshot of that as well. I submitted them to support via a formal ticket with a detailed explanation. I did this a few days before the challenge ended so they could put a stop to it. They did nothing. And that ticket I submitted? They said they'd "look into it" which apparently never happened. I mean, I had proof of cheating, and they did nothing.
I contacted them again Sunday night and told them I would no longer participate in Ranking Challenges and asked them why they let the cheater win, it's been almost 5 days and I've yet to hear back and it never takes this long, it's like they're avoiding it.
I haven't participated in this weeks Challenge which is ashame because it's fun, but when players are not only allowed to cheat but rewarded for it, well, it's just futility to play, it ends in frustration. If you guys won't disqualify cheaters how can any of us enjoy your game? The cheaters have ruined it but what's worse is Etermax has let them.

That 100 point increment is significant. I quit playing the survival challenge when they added the option where you could double your points. Only those with the money would do that, which had nothing to do with knowledge and everything to do with wealth. It reminded me of the parents who paid for someone to take their kids SAT tests, and then bribed officials to get their kids into elite universities.
This forum is a good place to vent, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Maybe it will. -
I think I've run into a similar situation. I see a user in my randomly picked list of "friends", a person I don't know at all, has 89,000 points in the ranking this week. Considering the game cuts points for classic games at 15 a day, this seems ridiculous. Assuming this user won all 15 of the games, it still doesn't make sense. 15x400 = 6000. 6000x5 days of ranking = 30,000. That means the person would need to have gotten 59,000 points from other things (Survival, Triviathon, etc), which only give around 300-400 points per completion. I need some advice; is there any possible legitimate way some really smart trivia whiz could rack up nearly 90,000 points in 5 days? Or should I report this individual to the admins? Thanks!

I also dropped down a level because there was no way to compete with the cheaters, but I like the level I’m on much better.
I don’t see the point of them playing as the do. There’s no challenge or fun in playing that way. The ones on my team seem to jump ahead greatly, very quickly & only play if the think the person under him is getting to close. I just don’t get it 🤷🏻♀️ -

I got a request from Etermax to respond to Request 42846. I tried to do so, but it kept telling me I didn’t have access and to go through my mail program, which I was. I gave up and wrote a letter.
I have not documented the cheaters. I responded to those who have that they should definitely contact you and provide their screen shots. No one was responding to their questions, so I did.
I rarely play anymore because the game format is not conducive to enjoying the play. I hate your game point system. I no longer know how many questions I’ve answered in a week, which is far fewer than the 2000-3000 it used to be. I can no longer see statistics, which takes away a great deal of personal information. You’ve put me in a group that I know nothing about and taken away my friends that I actually followed. Well you’ve given me a group and called them friends. Survival is a joke because the person with the most money can double their points, which may actually be part of your cheaters problems.
I used to enjoy the challenges and hosted several groups with 20 or more players. I made friends by talking with the players. Survival doesn’t even stay up the whole time due to the 4210 error.
I don’t think there is even a way to chat with friends any longer. You’ve isolated us more. I know quite a few players who have quit.

I did submit two screenshots which was absolute proof of cheating and the cheater went on to win. When I submitted a new report to Support regarding my frustration that nothing was done about it I never heard back from them. It's been 2 weeks and they simply ignored it, it is the only support request I have ever not had completed. I've stopped competing in the weekly ranking, until it's fair to honest players it's just an exercise in futility and frustration. It was fun, until the cheaters took over.

Good for you, Angie. You’re not the first to state they sent in screen shots with proof and nothing changed. If we post the information here, we at least have a group of people (players and perhaps Etermax staff) that are aware of the situation. I used to get responses from Etermax support, not for six or eight months though
It seems we are being ignored as weeks go by without any changes, just more problems. It appears your team doesn’t care and continues to try to force their vision upon the players. You’ve lost players and will continue to do so. You could restore the game from a year or two ago in that format and will back players.

4210, 4230, error error error. And why not separate the paying players from those using the free version? If I want to pay something to win, it needs to be for money, so I will go to Vegas. In the meantime, let's level the playing field a tad so normal people can win by what what this game was created for. Knowledge, not paying.

Got another one for you. This screenshot was taken at 8am CDT 4/25/22. The person shown in first place was at 85K points only 15 minutes prior. This is impossible for someone to amass so many points in this game so quickly. Can you please crack down on these cheaters? This person is now at 184K points and its only noon. the person in second place is at 130K.

See this All the time ok...person on my league has 546 thousand points ok...it's sad that people would rather buy stuff and really cheat to get ahead..even if I figured out a way I would not...I have brains and don't need to win and cheat to prove to dummies who come up with a way to beat the system or buy stuff ..really you are only fooling yourself and why so your on top and winning. WAKE UP BE HONEST

Coocookies, i just figure if you reach genius level and maybe can amass 130K points per week you will keep your ranking. Might have to purchase small stuff, but I have already figured out how to get ahead in this game and stay there. You are not going to beat any of the bots or cheaters, ever, but with some clever play and timing you can keep your ranking if you so desire. The game is of course rigged and tilted to those who have more disposable money than brains, so normal folks like us have no chance.
