Blatantly wrong questions in Survival mode cannot even be reported
I just lost a survival game because of a question that stated "Who discovered the second law of thermodynamics" and apparently the correct answer was "Isaac Newton" which is blatantly false. Rudolf Clausius and Lord Kelvin were the ones who formulated the law, based off of the initial formulation by Sadi Carnot.
Survival questions should be thoroughly vetted to make sure they're correct since there's no option to report them. This is pathetic.

This is the aspect of the game that frustrates me the most. There are SO many wrong answers in all the categories but the Classic game that we can’t do anything about & sometimes it costs you the game! I sincerely hope they are actually working on this. Just know that you’re not alone 😩😩

And then after you take all the trouble to take a picture of the bad question and send it to them, you can get even more frustrated when you see the same question come up in subsequent games!
I will give them credit that in the Classic game once I report a bad question I’ve never seen it again but in the others, not so much. -
OMFG!!! I have fact checking for the past couple of days because I asked my husband (who is a sports genius!!!) Some questions from the sports category and some of the answers were hella wrong!! I just lost 3 survival games for wrong answers but Trivia cracks answer was completely wrong!! One of the questions was how long was the revolutionary war, its 7 years!!! They have it as 8!!! But I've noticed for the past couple of days that alot of their answers are super wrong!!! Who the hell fact checks these questions!! I see history questions that are ridiculously wrong!! Like get it together!!!

I totally agree, if you see my post in bugs and problems I am frustrated with the same
problem. I have lost a bunch of games on the wrong answer. Ex. Question How many Presidents have been assassinated? Real ans. 4- Winner said 3 and won. Next Ex. What division are the Houston Astro in? Real ans. AL West - Answer that won-NL West. One more. How many years does a retired Athlete have to wait to be eligible for the Hall of Fame? Real Ans. 5 years - Winning ans. - 10 years. These are not hard questions and should not be allowed in the game with incorrect answers. When I check out questions and have a question I check it out on the web. I am sorry if I sound like I am whining but one of the best part of this game is learning. I don’t even like playing Survival because of this problem. At least in the regular game I can vent my displeasure if not get satisfaction.

To continue I too have seen so many wrong answers in the regular game too. When I think I see a wrong answer I check out the internet to confirm my thought process and then write it up on report questions. But when I lose the game behind I grind my teeth. Don’t know about the screen pictures but it good to know I am not alone.

Here I am again. Sorry I am so frustrated. Just lost another Survival game because of a blatantly wrong answer. Question- How many Super Bowls has Tom Brady won Correct Answer is 6. The winner of the game said 5. I swear this is the fourth game I have lost in the last 12 hours with easily verifiable answers. See my post above and the others. We are talking about easier questions. When I have any questions" when rating queries or playing the games I go and check it out or when I am submitting a question I verify my facts. Come on we can do better than this!

Sounds like some of those questions are outdated. I'm not sure how old the game is but they could have been written when the answer marked as correct was actually correct. That Tom Brady question might have been submitted before he won his 6th Super Bowl. I report questions like that in classic mode with the "answer will change" button. I do think questions like that should be required to have a time verifier ("As of 2015, how many Super Bowls has Tom Brady won?) We shouldn't have to be mind readers.

Some player would have come across this and should have reported it. Look above at the other questions such as What division is the Houston Astros in should be Al West Winning Answer- NL West that happened a lot of years ago or how many Presidents have been assassinated in office Ans 4 but was won with 3. How many years must a pro athlete wait to be eligible for the Hall of Fame Answer should be 5 but player won with 10. Please do better Ethermax.

17 days and counting and nothing from Emax yet? Sad. I just lost a survival game on how many layers are there in our atmosphere. Choices were 2, 3, 4, and 7. I’ve looked this up before and the answer is either 5 or 7 on every site, so I picked 7 and 4 was the “winner.” This game is quickly becoming “fake trivia.”

I sent in some screenshots of bad questions from the non-classic games yesterday and they thanked me. I want to be able to post them here as well! One had a picture of a living room with no people in it and the question was “Which basketball player is this?”.
Another one had the question “Who is this?”, and 4 first names as answers, but NO picture!
I report bad questions in Classic mode every day. Questions shouldn’t be allowed in the other games until they’ve been in the rotation in Classic mode for a few months. That way we’ll have had a chance to weed out the bad ones. -
I also send in any questions/answers I come across.
I think that’s a very good idea to have them all go through on the Classic game before others if they aren’t going to give all the games the same ability. And I think it’s pretty obvious that they aren’t going to do that. They’re too busy thinking up great ideas like pets, piggy banks & other things we don’t use -
I agree with you guys!! EXTREMELY frustrating to lose a game because of wrong answers! I fact check many questions/answers, and am astonished at just how many are truly incorrect! I understand that we, as players, are the ones who pass these questions to approval through the ratings system, but COME ON!! It makes me really sad to see just how illiterate people can be! The spelling on many questions is outrageous, yet they pass muster to get into the game. And I also agree with you, Audrey, what the heck do we even have pets for? Just another obnoxious thing to do in the game. We had "pets" to take care of in Farmville, but that at least made some sense. In a trivia game? Not so much. The piggy bank is just another way for them to take away our rightfully earned right answers and coins, and earn our hard earned cash dollars to open the bank, which I have done on more than one occasion, but it still pisses me off! Etermax is a company with at least 100 employees, and their current revenue is over 20 million a year! And yet at every turn we players are being asked to pay for this or pay for that. Fix what's broken, don't bring in new crap for us to pay for! And DO SOMETHING about that damn free spin wheel! 4 out of 7 prizes on it are completely worthless! Seriously? You're still making the completely worthless gems a prize? And I do mean worthless!! It is so very upsetting to spin and win nothing worthwhile! 25 or 50 coins? Are you even for real with those prizes?? Oh, I know!! Replace those useless prizes with right answers, or credits. We can at least use those at some point or other! Then we won't have to line your pockets buying them!! Oh, and just one more small issue. The extra points when we win a game is nice, but EVERYONE gets them. It doesn't take any special skill to get them. Just like the 400. If everyone gets the same points then how are they to our advantage? I'm not moving up the leader board any faster than I was before. I know your hearts were in the right place with this, but seriously, what is the point if EVERYONE gets the same points? We are not at any greater advantage than we were before! Thanks Emax for the effort, but maybe you could work on something that is actually broken. All listed by many of us repeatedly.

Hate playing Survival straight up! Because if it’s not the incorrect answers continually getting in the game. The other is players(if you could call them that) who buy their answers. Can you believe somebody would actually do that ? It just that sometimes it just seems players pull some amazing answers out of the sky over and over. You just get a feeling. Maybe I am way out of line but am wondering if players could like set up a league where everyone pledges to play straight up. Last Sunday night when the game reset at 10 PM I was playing. By about 12:45 AM this one player had 16,500 points. That would be 33 games
a pretty short period of time. Person should definitely sign up for Jeopardy. Just have to decide to play for mental exercise and not get caught up with nonsense. -
Since they have bonus points in survival today, it looks like we have bonus wrong answers to go along with it. The question was what’s the plural of platypus? Choices were: platypuses, platypus, platypi and none of these. The correct scientific answer is platypuses. Plan a pie is a colloquial mistake of Latin pluralization and platypus is a Greek word. Didn’t the player who submitted this wrong answer notice that Spellcheck even rejects Platta pie? Of course it also rejects either max (Etermax) who doesn’t bother responding to this thread.

It’s getting flat out ridiculous how many wrong answers there are in Survival. It keeps getting worse & worse. Also, in Pic Duel, a lot of the pictures don’t even go with the answer that’s given. Sometimes, you have a question & answer & later you get the question worded slightly different & it has a different answer. All of this blows my mind. You have a very successful game here & it seems like you would take pride in it & make everything the best it can be. I guess you don’t have to when it’s successful even with all the issues your games have. I think it’s time that I take a break from playing. I’ll try back in a few months to see if you have made any improvements instead of adding all the silly stuff that you continually do. I bet all of you sit around & laugh at all the morons that play your shoddy games with wrong answers running rampant. You should be ashamed to have your names on this game

None of the Above
Obviously I selected None of the above because Angel Falls is the tallest. Not according to your game though. I'm told that I lost and that the correct answer is Victoria Falls. Victoria isn't even the tallest waterfall on the choices it gave me, much less in the world.

John Nichel I had the very same question! And I got the answer wrong. I was sure Angel Falls was the correct answer but as it wasn't offered as an option I also lost the game from an incorrect answer (I don't remember what answer I chose) but I was, apparently, wrong! No time to take a screenshot either! This whole situation with wrong answers is really getting to a lot of us!! C'mon Emax! Please fix this huge problem with your new, revised question system. Hire me! I will be your fact checker!
