Are you having trouble with the game’s language?

I've been playing One Question on the Trivia Crack opening screen for months...it was always in English. Suddenly last week the questions appeared in French. I had done nothing to cause this. Any solution? Can I cancel it and "reorder it"? Very irritating. I really enjoyed the game but unfortunately, my French is limited.

I was asked to play by someone from Denmark (I think) and when I started to play, all the questions were in her language.  Is there a way to play my part in English and her to play in her language?

I was rating questions, but all of them were in either Spanish or Portuguese although the la guage selected was English.  There might be a bug in your sort code.

Hi Audrey! Thanks for sharing your situation with us. We don’t quite know which game mode you are referring to, but bear in mind that if you create a new game in classic game mode, you can set the language before you start a new game. If your opponent starts it, you will see the selected language when you receive the notification. If the language is different from the one you are used to, we suggest you turn down the game. Don't worry! This will not affect your statistics.
If you are referring to other game modes, please contact our Support Center and send us more details.

Hi Sylvia! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. We understand your situation, but unfortunately, 2 different players can’t play the same game in their own languages.
Once you accept a game, you can’t modify the language in which it was created. As we mention in our post, it is important you pay special attention to the selected language when you receive the invitation, represented with the corresponding flag. In this way, you will avoid playing games in other languages.

I accepted a game invitation from someone that speaks Spanish, but did not realize the language was different; I guess I thought it was common sense to not match players that spoke different languages. Then, on the support page it mentions several times how important it is to make sure your languages match; if it is so important, why isn't it mentioned one singal time in the " learn how to play" section? Is there a way to forfeit this game with out it affecting my record? Also, please make it a priority to let players know about the language differences before they get to the point of having to go to support just to find out it's too late.

I agree it’s hard to notice the language when you’re invited to play. I used to always say sure. However ..

It’s happened more often since the Crown League that I’ve gotten requests from non-English language players. I think they must want to answer more questions to get the crowns, they start games with people in their group. I’ve had to resign a couple, now I check the flag to see if I can play. Most of the time I can’t.  Only one player was rude when I resigned and left a message that I only played in English and she called me a “stoopid Americane woman”.  Oh well.

If you resign a game, does the other player get coins? I excepted a game and didn’t realize that it would be in Spanish, but I’ve never resigned a game. So I guess I’m just gonna keep guessing. But I’m wondering if sometimes they play hoping people will resign?
