- Install the extension and activate it as Overlay 1 using the Extensions section of your Streamer Dashboard.
- Once installed and activated, the extension will be available to use. Now is the time to set up a game; navigate to the Stream Manager section of your Streamer Dashboard and on the Quick Actions panel you should see a Trivia Crack widget. Click on it and it will launch the control panel.
Note: If you can’t see the extension widget on the Quick Actions panel, you may need to refresh the page. - Choose a number of questions for your game and click on Create Game.
- Once the game is created, the audience will have to register (see the previous section about viewer registration), and you will have the data of the first question.
Note: you can see the question but it hasn’t been sent to the viewers yet. The streamer always has control of the flow of the game. - Once you have given your audience enough time to register, click on Start Game to send in the first question.
Note: To compensate for the latency you may want to read the question and then send it to the audience; streaming has a few seconds of latency while the extension flow has almost no latency. - Now you’ll keep seeing the same data but with the live timer of the question. Once the timer is done, you may Send the Answer to the audience: this will show the viewers the answer feedback on their side of the extension.
- When ready, click on View Next Question to see the next question. Again, only you can see it, use this time to get your audience hyped up, there’s no rush!
- Repeat the cycle until the last question. If you get lost, pay attention to the flow diagram, it will tell you where you are currently at.
- Finally, after the last question, you’ll be able to show the ranking screen: this will list all of the players and their respective scores.
The ranking data is not displayed in the extension for the viewers; each viewer can see the summary of their performance, score and position. If you want to show the ranking to the audience you can easily capture the window using your streaming software.
